As the title suggests I am still very much alive and active here on Deviant Art.

Now for the bad news...

After suffering a six month long art block in which I have managed to create only one piece of artwork(the fact that my last few pieces havent had a lot of feedback didnt help I might add)

I Now find myself wanting to get back into the swing of things, but I have come uppon a somewhat annoying obstacle.

after going through all the trouble of buying a new computer(which I am still paying for) on which to do my work I have now found that my Scanner has now kicked the bucket. *insert sarcastic Yay here*

Its official this year Technology Hates me!

Ok to start things off I have returned yet again (give you 3 guess's as to why i have been offline this time).

The reason, My laptop which was so recently brought back from near death has finally croaked, why?

Heat.

to put it bluntly my old laptop produced an ungodly amount of heat in a very short ammount of time, a good example of how much heat it produced is that once after being left on all day (10-12 hours aprox) there was a smell of burnt wood from where it was sat on my desk.

well for a lack of better words... most of the internal components are suffering from heat damage, including the HDD.

I can still boot it up and use it, however It is now very prone to shutting down at random(typically with its heat temp warning beeping its head off), freezing etc... so I can still salvage my stuff.

The Good News... I has a new Laptop! (was looking to get a new one anyway).

Seriously what is it with me and technology lately.

Well it has been a while since I submitted anything and to be honest suffering from Artists block is only partially to blame.

As a few of you know(ie the ppl I chat to on IM) my computer recently suffered a combined virus/spyware induced near death experiance.

Well in getting its life restored I have to put it bluntly, lost almost every colour piece I was working on at the time, with only the few that were backed up to memory stick surviving.

Well despite loosing nearly everything that was on my harddrive I still have the originals so even though It may take a while, you will see new work in the gallery eventually.
